DELAWARE TOWNSHIP, N.J. — The Delaware Township community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Brandi Karcher, a 6-year-old girl who died from injuries sustained in a serious two-vehicle crash on Route 173 in Bethlehem Township.

Brandi died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash on Route 173. The collision occurred at approximately 4:34 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2026, according to New Jersey State Police spokesman Jeffrey Lebron.
Police said a Kia traveling west on Route 173 collided with a Jeep SUV that was making a right-hand turn. Ten people were hospitalized following the crash, with the other nine reportedly suffering minor injuries.
Brandi later succumbed to the injuries she sustained in the collision.

A celebration of her life is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 21, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington.
